香豆素是芳香族内酯化合物,其中许多存在于天然植物中。 在7位带有供电子基团的香豆素化合物显示出很强的光吸收和发光性能,而未取代的香豆素化合物则几乎不发光。 这是因为当香豆素分子中同时存在供电子基团和吸电子基团时,会发生分子内电荷转移。 在3或4位上引入基团在很大程度上控制了光吸收和发光的波长。 此外,在这些位置上引入吸电子基团可以增强发光强度。 这种香豆素染料可用于发出蓝绿色光的激光染料。
